Typically the ACS PYP in Computing/ICT stands as the additional pathway from university to employment within Australia. The program has been scheduled for a minimum of 44 weeks to a maximum of 52 weeks. The ACS PYP in Brisbane thus delivers 44 -52 weeks practical training, face to face study and workshops. It also delivers 2 week hands-on internship with a host company. With the successful completion of the professional year program you gain an access to networking opportunities and professional development as a graduate member of the Australian ICT industry's professional body.

On successful completion of a Professional Year program the participant may be awarded 5 points under the Australian Skilled Occupation List.

The ACS Professional Year course consists of four modules covering
