Yes; in turn the program also helps in addressing Australia’s skill shortages in the ICT industry.
This program also provides the IT professionals with additional pathway from university to employment within Australia. The ACS Professional Year program thus offers the ultimate and effective job-readiness training and an invaluable 12 week IT internship placement.
It also makes sense to mention here that this Australian Computer Society ICT Professional Year program is an initiative of the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) to address Australia’s skills shortage.
